Usage

Reading usage bars

What each bar means, its colors and when it refreshes.

Which providers show usage?

  • Claude: the 5 hour window and the 7 day window.
  • ChatGPT: the 5 hour and 7 day windows; Free accounts show a 30 day window.
  • Grok: remaining tickets.
  • Notion: the rolling 6 hour AI limit and the monthly allowance, per workspace.

Gemini and the other built-in sites open in the right profile as cards or shortcuts, without usage bars; for some, AIObox shows which account is signed in.

What do the colors mean?

A bar changes color as it fills: calm below 20%, green from 20%, yellow from 51%, orange from 75% and red from 90%. You can move these thresholds in Settings › Usage colors.

What is the thin mark on a bar?

It shows how much of that window's time has passed. A fill ahead of the mark means you are using the window faster than it runs, so it may fill up before it resets; the reset time is shown beside the bar.

How often does it refresh?

AIObox checks every 5 minutes in the background. Change the interval between 1 and 240 minutes in Settings.

Where do the numbers come from?

AIObox reads them from the provider's own pages inside your profile, on your computer. Nothing is sent to aiobox.app.
